In this final book from the Breathless Trilogy, we get to see Ash and Josie’s story. Ash is the last of the three friends to find love. He has watched from the sidelines as his two best friends found the women of their dreams and is beginning to wonder about his. One day he sees Josie and all that changes. But Josie isn’t sure that she is interested in Ash. From that day forward, Ash decides that Josie is the one for him. But can he win her over and show her just how much he wants to love her?

Josie is no stranger to Ash’s lifestyle. Yet, because of a previous relationship, she’s afraid to once again take a chance with another demanding Dom. Josie is a self-assured woman and Ash is one domineering man. The two make a good couple and watching the two work through it all made for a nice read. You find a whole different Ash in this book than the previous ones. He is truly someone to be reckoned with. Love comes to us when we least expect it and Ash and Josie find it in spades. I loved how honest Ash is with Josie right from the start about many things. He still does hide a few secrets that cost him dearly in the end. At times, this is an intense read that takes us on an erotic ride with characters that long for and find love.

This book wraps everything up nicely for this series. Readers will find out many things when they read this story, some that they will love and others that may not hit the spot. All in all, Maya Banks gives us a story full of romance and angst that keeps you turning the pages to see what will happen next.
