Fangs For Nothing
Erin McCarthy and Kathy Love
This second book of the Fangover series continues the story of the band members of The Impalers. This time they find themselves waking up after a wedding with no memories of the previous night. What they find when they wake up is another great adventure, Drag queens, vampires, Dominatrix and even a pet alligator round out the adventure. If that doesn’t grab your attention I do not know what will.
This story gives us two romances: Johnny and Lizette and Drake and Josie. It’s Johnny and Drake’s turn to find love as they once again retrace their steps from the night before. Their story was a fun read and had me laughing out loud at times. I really enjoyed watching Johnny and Lizette’s relationship bloom. Opposites attract and these two could not be any more opposite. I loved watching Drake and Josie begin to trust one another, their romance was a sweet one. Josie is a strong woman but finds herself faced with things that she would never imagine and finds that Drake is there for her. But in the end will that be enough for her?
I enjoyed seeing the band members and the way they stand by each other. There is love and laughter between everyone and they care deeply for one another. As much fun as their adventure was Drake and Johnny find that there is so much more in life than just the band and their music. Actions have consequences and they must learn to deal with them. The band members seem to have all grown up and see that life can be more than just a gig and a drink.
This book is full of well-rounded characters with lots of chemistry and fun involved in their adventure making it an engaging read that entertains the reader.
