Stanley Sternbaum has just moved into the Belladonna Arms Apartments. It’s not the best looking apartment building but it suits his current needs. Suffering from acute shyness all his life plus having a meddling mother, he’s anxious to become independent. When he meets his eccentric neighbors he knows life will never be the same especially after locking eyes with gorgeous Roger Jane. Living a sheltered life, Stanley in unprepared for Roger’s wooing. Will Stanley take a chance on love?

Call this one funny, charming and a joy to read. The author’s blurb sounded interesting so I jumped at the chance to review it. I’m happy that I did because it has some of the most engaging characters in one setting. The author struck gold with his characterization because all of them collectively make this a truly entertaining read. Although I give my heart to Stanley because he narrates so well, the supporting cast is brilliant. Everything else is suppose to be a backdrop to Stanley and Roger’s romance but some of the other residents stole my attention easily. The writing is funny and very descriptive, so vivid I could just imagine life at the Belladonna Arms. If you’re in the mood for a sweet comedic romance with lots of heart, you’ll love this story. It’s a full on fast paced roller coaster ride and I was a little sad when it was over. I’m hoping for a sequel, I would gladly purchase a ticket for another ride.
