This book brings us Bijou and Remy’s story. Remy is a homicide detective on a case and has no time for Bijou yet she calls to him. As she sings her beautiful voice is something that Remy cannot ignore and now it seems that someone else is hearing the call of that voice. Bijou has attracted a stalker and Remy is determined to keep her safe. Bijou has given up her rock and roll life for a Jazz club and the music she truly loves but she finds that she may not have the safe life that she longs for. Can a man from her past be the one to help her and maybe even love her?

I enjoyed watching Remy and Bijou reconnect. Remy comes to find Bijou all grown up into a woman and not the little girl he once knew. Remy is an intense man and that rolls over to their relationship. He is a domineering man in and out of the bedroom and Bijou loves it all. Watching their relationship take shape was a nice read. Bijou is a smart woman who finds her life going in way that she never thought it would. I enjoyed seeing the two work through their own feelings as well as trying to figure out just who was doing the killings and why.

The author does a nice job of weaving the mystery of a series killer along with the romance of these two characters. There are a few twists and turns that I did not expect to happen. This book is part of a series and should be read in order so that the reader is not lost and understands the world of the leopards. Christine Feehan weaves a beautiful story and brings these characters and their world vividly to life pulling the reader into the story and not letting go.
