Cassie Hinton was known throughout the horse racing business as a winning jockey. She had another interesting attribute—she refused to mistreat her animals and she prayed before races. She was a model for believers until the accident that took away her career. She returned to her hometown and was faced with the man she had loved since she was twelve. He was the pastor of her church. She had lost her faith.

Pastor Jack had a seven year-old daughter, Lara. His wife of ten years had died of cancer after she gave birth. He had never considered dating again until Cassie came back to Headley Cross. He had always been more than fond of her as they grew up. As her brother’s best friend, he never knew whether she liked him especially or if she just liked to hang out with the boys. And the n Lara asked him to buy her a new mommie.

Ms. Clare Revell has presented us with a beautiful story line that brings to life a dream by two grown people who were more committed than either realized. She has written this book with a unique perspective. It is refreshing to read from this point of view. She revealed dreams remembered since childhood and they gripped my heartstrings. I couldn’t put the book down.

The secondary characters were important in this story. They worked hard and have kept the interactions believable. The love connection was beautifully written and is suitable for all ages. The inspirational areas of the book were particularly well presented. I recommend this book as a great additional to your home library.
