Chloe Burgesse never thought she’d be going on her honeymoon alone, or that she’d find a stranger jumping in her car while she was driving around lost. However, that’s exactly what happens. But the handsome man is a worthy distraction. If only danger wasn’t following closely in his wake and destined to turn her boring life upside down.

Jericho Eden is a master sergeant on the run when his latest mission turns disastrous and it seems he has a target on his back. Jumping into a stranger’s car probably isn’t his best option, but it’s the only one he’s got. Besides, it seems the driver could use the distraction.

The plot of this book was very interesting and started rather explosively with Jericho fighting to stay alive and jumping into Chloe’s car. It made for an exciting adventure that became more thrilling with each chapter. The dialogue was well-written and I enjoyed Chloe’s reaction when Jericho told her they’d have to stick together if she was to remain alive because the bad guys would come after her. As for the sex scenes, they were hot. But then again that was to be expected with both of their lives at stake. What I liked so much about the heroine was her strength and that once she realised arguing with Jericho was an exercise in futility that she’d do everything she could to help him. While with the hero, I loved how protective he was of Chloe because she was innocent.

Overall, this author has done an exceptional job penning this story and I can’t wait to read future books for this series because the men of Jericho’s team deserve their own stories.
